Q. How does the process work?
A. The customer sends me an RC body or the item they would like me to customise.
They tell me their requirements and I carry out the work and return it.
Q. How much to paint a body?
A. As the work I do is completely custom pricing varies depending on the body, scheme, time it will take, materials used etc. The best thing to do is contact me with your requirements and I can give you a quotation.
Q. What is your turnaround time?
A. This largely depends on the length of my waiting list if I have one at the time. I would provide an estimate of how long it would be before I could start work on your item. Once started they are usually returned within 2 weeks. Far less for smaller items requiring less work.
Q. Is there anything you won't paint?
A. If I'm confident I can do a good job and it can be done I will paint anything. The only exceptions are that I will not copy anyone elses work, or previous work of my own. And I refuse to paint Monster Energy and Stobart schemes, sorry :)
Q. Can you paint the outside of my RC body?
A. No.
Q. How can I be added to your waiting list?
A. Simply send me the item you would like me to work on. Once it arrives it goes on the waiting list where your space is saved.
Q. I'm in the USA, is that a problem?
A. Not at all. I will carry out custom work for anyone, anywhere in the world. This would not affect the cost of the work, but the postage would need to be worked out on an individual basis.
Q. Do you trim the body?
A. Yes. I cut the body out where possible as part of the preparation. The only areas I don't touch are body mounting holes and holes for engine heads etc.
